Aviation Civil EngineerIn the role of Aviation Civil Engineer, we'll count on you to:Primary ResponsibilitiesClients begin to identify you as a resource for aviation related tasksTechnical DevelopmentSuggest solutions to client problems by interpreting FAA, USACOE, and other guidance; begin to suggest alternative study or documentation methodologiesPrepare approaches, scopes of work, fee estimates for small projectsTechnical Talent Identification & Career JourneySeek leadership role in external professional aviation related organization (e.g., elected office, organizing or planning committees, panel presentations)Process & Tool Application & DevelopmentThorough understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AVI-Plan, and Infraworks modeling softwareImplement QMP procedures on performed tasksWith direction, develop/prepare project design report and begin to coordinate with applicable agencies (FAA, EPA, and local) as well as with clientsLead analyses/design for specific component of a projectLead field reviews to determine construction compliance with contract documentsMarketing SupportMaintain an updated resumeAssist with technical write‑ups of completed projectsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsActive participation in professional organizations (e.g., AAAE, ACC, ASCE, etc.)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in EngineeringRequires professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE) or P.Eng)Previous experience with Airfield Planning and DesignThorough understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D, AVI-Plan, and Infraworks modeling softwareOverall understanding of airfield designStrong technical background and experience in designing several aspects of airfieldsSolid written and verbal communication skillsCommitment to being an active participant of an employee‑owned culture is a mustPrimary LocationUnited States - Ohio - ClevelandIndustryAviationScheduleFull‑timeEmployee StatusRegularJob PostingApr 21, 2026We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
