Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and support aviation engineering design projects including taxiways, taxilanes, aprons, roadways, drainage, and utilities
  • Collaborate with airport authorities, airlines, and regulatory agencies to deliver compliant and efficient designs
  • Contribute to airport master planning, terminal redevelopment, and airfield expansion initiatives
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables across multiple assignments
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architecture and civil engineering
  • Support business development efforts and help expand aviation engineering services in Dallas/Ft. Worth
  • Ensure compliance with FAA standards, including Advisory Circulars and regulatory requirements

What You Bring
  • 3–6 years of experience as an Aviation Engineer, preferably in Dallas/Ft. Worth or similar markets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or related field)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required
  • Strong knowledge of FAA regulations, including airport design and construction standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and aviation planning tools (Aviplan preferred)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
