State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start in Spring 2025 Spring Semester within the Aviation Maintenance program. This is a Part-time as needed substitute instructor position. Apply today at https://statetech.mo.edu/human-resources.
Required Qualifications:
• FAA airframe and powerplant aircraft mechanic certificates • Five years A&P work experience, including various operations such as Part 91, 135, and/or 145 • Bachelors degree or the willingness to earn one • Excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Teaching/training experience • Five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: • Aviation • Mathematics • Physics • Weight and Balance • Powerplant fuel systems
Job Responsibilities:
This position would instruct courses that may include the following topics:
• Aircraft Fluid Power Systems • Airframe Fuel Water and Waste Systems • Turbine Engines and Accessory Systems • Airframe Systems and Inspections
Student advising is also a key responsibility.
