Description
Apollo MedFlight is seeking an experienced Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) - Roamer to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and alterations on company aircraft. This position supports multiple operational bases and requires travel as needed to maintain fleet readiness.
The successful candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, regulatory compliance, and aircraft reliability. The AMT will work closely with Maintenance leadership while supporting Apollo MedFlight's Safety Management System and FAA Part 135 maintenance requirements.
Essential Duties
Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance.Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and alter aircraft systems and components.Complete preventative maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations.Maintain aircraft in an airworthy condition.Accurately complete maintenance records and aircraft logbook entries.Interpret maintenance manuals, blueprints, drawings, STCs, and technical publications.Verify proper documentation, part numbers, and serial numbers during component installation and removal.Maintain clean, organized work areas.Participate in Apollo MedFlight's Safety Management System.Respond to maintenance events throughout assigned operational areas.Assist with inventory and parts requests.Communicate maintenance discrepancies affecting aircraft availability.Perform additional duties as assigned.
