POSITION: Aviation/Professional Pilot Training Instructor

(Anticipated, FT/PT, 10-month, FTE based on enrollment)

ASSIGNMENT: Career, Technical and Adult Education

SITE/BUILDING: Bixhorn Technical Center, Bellport, NY

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess or are eligible for NYS Aeronautics 7-12 Certification or Transitional A Certification

• Must be Certified Flight Instructor; will teach ground school
• 3-5 years of industry experience
• Appropriate industry certification(s)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to plan and implement student learning per the established curriculum

START DATE: September 1, 2026

MINIMUM STARTING SALARY: $62,861.00 (FT)
