    Aviation Project Engineer Location: US-TX-HoustonID: 2026-1922Category: AviationPosition Type: Full-TimeRemote: NoOverview The Senior Civil Project Engineer leads the planning, design, and execution of aviation-related civil engineering projects within Parkhill's Aviation Practice. This role requires specialized knowledge in airport infrastructure and airfield design. The engineer will serve as Engineer of Record and manage projects from concept through construction in accordance with FAA and state standards.Responsibilities Lead design and delivery of civil engineering projects at airports including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading, drainage, and access roadwaysServe as Engineer of Record on aviation infrastructure projectsOversee and review construction drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reportsCoordinate project scope, schedule, budget, and resources with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure compliance with FAA Advisory Circulars, TxDOT Aviation guidelines, and local regulationsConduct site visits and provide construction administration supportQualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional engineer license (PE)Minimum 7 years of civil engineering experienceKnowledge of FAA and TxDOT Aviation standards and processesFamiliarity with FAA AIP fundingExperience with software including AutoCAD and Civil 3DAbility to lead project design start to finish, considering time, cost and resourcesKnowledge of environmental regulations and workplace safety regulations#J-18808-Ljbffr
