Sparks Group is partnered with a leading aviation organization who is seeking 2 detail-oriented Project / Program Specialists to support cross-functional initiatives that drive operational performance, supply chain execution, and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a process-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced aerospace environment and excels at coordinating schedules, analyzing data, managing change, and ensuring programs stay on track from launch through completion. This position plays a critical role in supporting program planning, execution, and continuous improvement across product development, logistics, and operational initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, advanced Excel expertise, and the ability to collaborate across internal teams, suppliers, and customers. These are contract roles for a minimum of 6 months and are 100% on site with an 8-5 schedule. Interested candidates should apply for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and maintain project and program plans to support operational, supply chain, and customer objectives.
  • Monitor timelines, milestones, deliverables, and commitments to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and quality expectations.
  • Analyze trends, variances, metrics, and performance data to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support change management processes by tracking updates, documenting revisions, and communicating impacts to stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, schedules, and status updates throughout the full project lifecycle.
  • Coordinate across departments including supply chain, customer support, sales, logistics, and operations to ensure alignment.
  • Assist with risk assessments, mitigation planning, and business case development.
  • Track supplier and customer commitments to ensure compliance with schedules and contractual requirements.
  • Support process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and program success.
  • Participate in project closeout activities, lessons learned documentation, and customer transition planning.
  • Maintain documentation, work statements, and integrated schedules in accordance with project management best practices.
  • Serve as a liaison between internal teams and external stakeholders to support successful project execution.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Program Management, Project Coordination, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Prior experience in aerospace, aviation, logistics, distribution, or similar technical industries.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting trends, metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and process adherence.
  • U.S. Person status required for export compliance.
  • U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of hardware, fasteners, chemicals, or aviation-related product categories.
  • Experience with data modeling and business analysis.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • 1-2 years of direct project scheduling, planning, or execution experience.
