    Aviation Project Manager

    Position Summary

    Responsible for delivering all project objectives for assigned projects including scope, schedule, and budget.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities

    • Monitors schedules, budgets, accounts receivable, and manpower requirements and prepares invoices. • Develops Project Management plans for assigned projects. • Establishes project pricing and budgets. • Creates and maintains project schedules. • Develops and maintains project-specific quality plans. • Manages subconsultants. • Participates in client presentations. • Oversees and manages assigned staff working on project. • Manages all technical resources on the project team.

    Development of extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals. Coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals. Lead and manage team members by providing leadership and continuous performance management, setting expectations, goals, feedback, and coaching that supports the growth and development of team.

    Nonessential Functions and Responsibilities

    Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Required Skills

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office

    Required Experience

    • Bachelors degree from an ABET accredited engineering program • Professional Engineer License • 10 years of experience in specialized discipline Aviation preferred • Heavy civil transportation required • Preferred Experience • Experience working with local clients at the county and state level • 5 years of experience working with Airport projects following FAA or DoD standards • AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoCAD for plan set developed, and Civil 3D for Surface Modeling • Project management and business development experience • Experience with multiple project delivery methods (i.e., Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build P3) • Experience managing multidiscipline project teams

    Working Conditions

    Work is performed within a general office environment 95% of the time. Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc., within the office environment.

    Field work is required on occasion where work may be conducted outside in heat, cold, wet, humid, and dry arid conditions. Some lifting up to 25 lbs may be required as needed.
