The Flight Operations Program Develops and evaluates programs for organizations operating complex aircraft, overseeing large fleets engaged in passenger and freight services.
Responsibilities include developing surveillance work programs, ensuring compliance with 14 CFR and FAA standards, and overseeing pilot and flight engineer training and testing.
The role involves serving as a technical advisor, conducting enforcement investigations, and handling aircraft incidents and complaints.
Additional duties include conducting flight tests, certifying crew members, monitoring training programs, and reviewing manuals for compliance.
The Inspector participates in FAA flight programs, evaluates practical tests, and maintains certification qualifications.
Other tasks involve coordinating with inspectors, recommending examiners, and supporting legal and safety proceedings.
Must hold an FAA second-class medical and perform various assigned duties.
