What You'll Do

  • Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structures to identify damage or wear
  • Execute sheet metal repairs and structural modifications on aircraft components (wing, fuselage, tail, etc.)
  • Fabricate and modify structural components as required
  • Perform minor repairs on composite materials
  • Complete mechanical and electrical removals and installations
  • Interpret and follow aircraft maintenance manuals, blueprints, and technical data
  • Assist with complex structural repairs both on and off aircraft
  • Use precision measuring tools to ensure compliance with aviation standards
  • Inspect confined areas of the airframe
  • Maintain compliance with environmental health and safety procedures
  • Stay current with industry trends, technology, and regulatory requirements

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 1 year of structural sheet metal experience (3+ years preferred)
  • Experience with corporate or commercial aircraft preferred
  • CRJ airframe experience is a plus
  • MRO experience is a plus
  • Military aircraft maintenance experience (Depot / Phase / Isochronal) is a plus
  • Completion of Sheet Metal A/C Tech School or equivalent preferred
  • FAA A&P or Airframe License preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong understanding of aircraft structures and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical manuals
  • Must have a basic set of tools
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a 24/7 operation with 12-hour shifts (days, nights, weekends)
  • Proficient with computer-based maintenance systems
  • Ability to obtain a SIDA badge (if required)
