Requirements / Qualifications

ALL APPLICANTS MUST ATTACH A CURRENT COLLEGE TRANSCRIPT WITH CURRENT COURSE INFORMATION. All applicants must have a minimum high school diploma or GED. All applicants must be 18 years or older to apply. Preferred applicants will be enrolled in a 4-year college program or a 2-year community college program verified by attached college transcripts. Tutors must be available Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 8 am - 3:30 pm. Experience as a former AVID student is highly desirable. Applicants MUST attach the following to their application: -Copy of High School Diploma/Transcripts or GED AND -Copy of College Transcripts with current courses listed (unofficial transcripts accepted) IMPORTANT NOTICES: Please Note: The selection process typically concludes within four weeks from the posted closing date. Please do not contact Human Resources for application updates. Only electronic, on-line applications are accepted. All supporting REQUIRED materials must be attached to online application when applying. An application will not be considered unless all Required Documents are electronically attached to the application by the Application Deadline date.

Successful applicants must complete the following before employment: -Fingerprint Clearance from the Department of Justice and/or FBI -Tuberculosis Clearance -Drug Screening Clearance -Online Mandated Training through Keenan SafeSchools and Hour Zero DO NOT ATTACH ANY DOCUMENT OR IDENTIFICATION THAT DISPLAYS A PHOTO OF YOU AND/OR INDICATES YOUR AGE.
