Part-time, temporary Avid Tutor positions are available at various school sites, with the potential to develop an eligibility list for future vacancies and substitutes for up to six months.
Under direct supervision, tutors assist secondary students individually and in groups in college prep courses and perform related duties.
Required qualifications include enrollment in at least 12 units per semester at an accredited college or university, with a preference for those pursuing a teaching credential. Graduation from high school is mandatory, and preference may be given to graduates of local district high schools.
Applicants must attach a Letter of Introduction, a recent Letter of Recommendation, and proof of high school graduation to their EDJOIN application.
