We are seeking an Avionics Electrical Design Engineer specializing in schematic design and PCB/board layout for airborne electronics. The engineer will be responsible for electrical design, circuit development, PCB layout, EMI/EMC considerations, simulation, testing, and compliance with aerospace standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and review electrical schematics and circuit designs for avionics systems.
Design RF/electrical circuits, including power amplifiers, LNAs, filters, and related interfaces.
Perform PCB layout, including high-speed PCB design, signal integrity, and power integrity considerations.
Apply EMI/EMC design practices throughout schematic and PCB development.
Conduct circuit analysis and simulations using MATLAB, SPICE, ADS, HFSS, or equivalent tools.
Support design verification, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of electrical/PCB issues.
Perform and support environmental, RF emissions, RF susceptibility, and lightning testing.
Ensure designs comply with relevant aerospace and airborne hardware standards, including DO-160 and DO-254.
Work with test equipment such as network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Collaborate with systems, embedded, mechanical, manufacturing, and verification teams.
Support design reviews, documentation, qualification, and production release activities.
Preferred Profile
Strong hands-on experience in schematic capture and PCB/board layout for aerospace/avionics electronics.
Understanding of high-speed, RF, EMI/EMC, and signal-integrity design principles.
