Position – Avionics Installer (Aircraft Maintenance / MRO)
Location: Atlanta. Georgia
Environment: MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul)
Avionic Installer is responsible for installing, modifying, and troubleshooting aircraft avionics systems in a maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) environment. This role focuses on commercial A321 & B717 aircraft, requiring strong experience with avionics installations, wiring, and integration of systems, and modifications platforms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics systems and components
- Perform wiring, harness fabrication, termination, and routing
- Install avionics equipment including radios, navigation systems, GPS, and displays
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and functional checks
- Ensure all installations meet FAA regulations and company standards
- Document work performed accurately and in a timely manner
- Work independently or as part of a team in a production or MRO environment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification
High School diploma or equivalent required.
- avionics installation experience required
- B717 and/or A321 aircraft experience required
- Experience performing C-checks or heavy maintenance required
- Experience in an MRO or aircraft modification environment preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong experience installing and troubleshooting avionics systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation
- Experience with wire routing, termination, crimping, and harness fabrication
- Strong knowledge of aircraft electrical systems
- Ability to perform system testing and troubleshooting
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced MRO or production environment
- Must provide own tools
- Ability to lift, stand, and work in various physical positions throughout the shift
