PAY RATE: $72-75/hour

Summary: 

• Serves as a Senior Software Test Engineer for safety-critical software verification.

• Acts as a technical authority on translating requirements into software test cases and scripts written in Python.

• Reviews and approves test cases and scripts to build out the regression test suite.

• Maintains established processes for software test verification.

• Supports coaching the team and resolving technical issues.

• Demonstrates immediate proficiency in Python-based test development.

• Works with specialized SITL and HITL environments to clear the testing backlog efficiently.

• Applies DO-178 software verification or similar safety-critical program experience.

• Performs strong troubleshooting for software verification activities.

• Rapidly onboards and hits the ground running with test development.

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Experience with DO-178 software verification or similar safety-critical programs is required.

• Strong troubleshooting skills are required.

• Proficiency in Python for software test case and script development.

• Experience reviewing and approving test cases and scripts.

• Experience building regression test suites.

• Experience with SITL and HITL environments.

• Ability to support coaching the team and resolving technical issues.

• Ability to rapidly onboard and demonstrate immediate proficiency in Python-based test development.

• Experience as a Senior Software Test Engineer or similar role.
