Job Summary:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for AVIONICS TECHNICIANS in EVERETT, WA

Responsibilities:
As an Avionics Technician, you will be required to:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Document all work performed per regulations as required .
  • Should demonstrate ability to read/understand/interpret engineering drawings.
  • Operates in compliance with company safety practices and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Working on numerous aircraft types including Boeing 737/767/Airbus.
Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:
  • Previous Commercial MRO experience - Highly skilled.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience on 737/767/Airbus/Next Gen.
  • F.A.A. Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License - preferred.
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Standard Tool Kit required.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.
Job Type:
  • Contract
  • Available to work weekends and overtime if needed.

Essential Job Functions
  • Able to Interpret maintenance manuals, wiring prints, and engineering drawings.
  • High level of professionalism and attention to details. Able to take direction and fit in with the team.
  • Good documentation skills for work performed and turnovers.
  • Work with little or no direction.
  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Good vision and depth perception.
  • Work Environment : FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
