Avionics Technician

Our client, an Aerospace and Defense company, is looking for multiple Avionic Technicians for their Stratford, CT location.

Responsibilities:

• Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical.
• Constructs, troubleshoots aircraft systems.
• Works from schematics, engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions. checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
• Working from engineering drawings, electrical and electronic schematics with limited guidance to fabricate, install, diagnose and repair equipment and test installations in support of System Integration Laboratory test facilities.
• Fabricate wire harnesses, test boxes and associated laboratory test equipment.

Requirements:

• Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Previous experience with electronic and electrical fabrication.
• Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
• Previous experience working with, fabricating and terminating military wiring harnesses and connectors.
