A global insurance organization is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineering and DevOps Lead to oversee enterprise cloud infrastructure, networking, automation, CI/CD, security, and platform governance.
This hands-on technical leadership role includes overseeing a distributed team while retaining direct responsibility for architecture, engineering implementation, and troubleshooting.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define AWS infrastructure standards, architecture, and roadmap.
Lead a distributed technical engineering team.
Design secure, scalable AWS infrastructure and network connectivity.
Create reusable Terraform modules and standardize infrastructure automation.
Own GitHub administration and CI/CD pipelines.
Implement cloud security, monitoring, and governance controls.
Support enterprise application migrations and cloud enablement.
Improve cloud resilience, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
Role Requirements
10+ years infrastructure/cloud/DevOps engineering experience.
5+ years hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering.
3+ years technical-team leadership.
AWS networking expertise across VPCs, routing, Transit Gateway, and hybrid connectivity.
Terraform/Terragrunt module development.
GitHub administration and GitHub Actions.
AWS security, IAM, and cloud governance.
Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
Docker and ECS/EKS.
FinOps exposure and relevant degree or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Advanced AWS certifications.
AWS Bedrock or enterprise AI integration.
Insurance or financial-services background.
Security and compliance framework knowledge.
