A global P&C insurance organization is seeking a senior product leader to drive the strategy, development, and adoption of Data and AI capabilities supporting underwriting operations.
This individual will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle for AI-enabled analytics, automation, and decision-support products, translating underwriting business needs into production-ready capabilities that improve operational performance and business outcomes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Define product strategy, roadmaps, and measurable business goals for underwriting Data and AI products.
Identify and prioritize AI, automation, and analytics use cases across insurance operations.
Lead discovery, requirements, Agile delivery, user testing, production launches, and adoption.
Partner with underwriting, actuarial, claims, distribution, engineering, and data science stakeholders.
Guide the delivery of GenAI assistants, predictive models, and intelligent workflow capabilities.
Track product adoption, operational value, and business impact.
Support responsible AI governance, explainability, data quality, and compliance.
Communicate roadmap decisions and product outcomes to senior stakeholders.
Role Requirements
7+ years in Product Management or Product Ownership.
3+ years delivering Data, Analytics, or AI/ML products.
Direct P&C insurance underwriting experience.
Demonstrated delivery of AI capabilities into production.
Experience owning roadmaps, prioritization, Agile execution, and product outcomes.
Technical understanding of SQL, Python, data platforms, BI, and AI/LLM technologies.
Strong stakeholder communication and cross-functional delivery experience.
Bachelor's degree.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Underwriting workbench, policy administration, or insurance platform modernization experience.
Guidewire or Duck Creek exposure.
Relevant product management certification.
Related master's degree.
