Reporting to the Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer, CHOC Foundation, the Associate Vice President, Foundation Marketing and Communications, serves as a key member of the Foundation Leadership Team. This position provides strategic leadership across marketing, communications, and design services in support of the Foundation's brand, reputation, and audience engagement strategy.
The AVP leads the Foundation's integrated marketing and communications strategy, ensuring alignment across brand strategy, audience development, storytelling, reputation management, digital engagement and community presence. The position works in close partnership with the regional hospital and marketing teams to advance highly coordinated communications across the philanthropic community through all print, online and digital platforms. This position oversees the Marketing, Communications, and Design Services functions that deliver essential services to organizational priorities and Foundation stakeholder engagement efforts. This role is responsible for defining and advancing an audience-first-approach that deepens awareness, trust, and long-term affinity across key stakeholder groups, including donors, patients, families, partners elevating the Foundation's brand visibility, strengthening public trust and emotional connection to the mission, and positioning philanthropy within the broader Rady Children's Health enterprise.
Pay Range: Minimum $115,627 Midpoint $173,451 Maximum $231,254
