Assistant Vice President, International Finance
(135K-160K + bonus) Boston, MA | Hybrid

We’re partnering with a global private equity platform to hire an AVP, International Finance. This is a high-impact role supporting a complex international entity structure, with direct exposure to senior leadership and global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple international entities
Review and analyze financial statements, reporting packages, and account reconciliations from global service providers
Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and local statutory requirements
Partner with tax, legal, and external advisors to manage audits, filings, and entity-level requirements
Prepare board-level reporting, variance analysis, and executive presentations
Support global forecasting efforts through financial modeling and performance analysis
Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements across finance operations
Act as a key liaison across corporate finance, international teams, and third-party providers

Qualifications:

CPA (or equivalent) required
6+ years of progressive accounting experience within a multinational environment
Public accounting background required (Big 4 or large regional preferred)
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS
Experience with international entities, multi-currency environments, and statutory reporting
Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Workday preferred) and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI a plus)
Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
