Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

Compensation: $140,000 - $160,000 Base Salary + Bonus + Benefits

Our client, a highly respected global specialty insurer, is seeking a Middle Market Property Underwriter to join their growing team in San Francisco. What You'll Do

• Underwrite new and renewal Middle Market Property accounts across a broad range of industries
• Analyze risk exposures, evaluate submissions, and develop competitive coverage and pricing strategies
• Manage and grow a profitable portfolio while maintaining underwriting quality and discipline
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with retail and wholesale brokers throughout the region
• Partner with risk engineering, claims, and other internal stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for profitable growth

What We're Looking For

• Experience underwriting commercial property risks within the middle market segment
• Strong technical underwriting, pricing, and portfolio management skills
• Proven ability to build and maintain broker relationships
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to manage a book of business while balancing growth and profitability objectives
• Experience handling complex property risks is highly preferred
