Who We Are:

We are a newly independent wealth management firm, with approximately $500 million in revenue, recently carved out from a larger parent company and acquired by a leading private equity sponsor. With a strong foundation of client relationships, acquisitions, and growth potential, we are in the process of standing up new systems, processes, and controls to support our next phase of expansion. This is a unique opportunity to help shape the tax infrastructure of a high-growth platform from the ground up.

Summary:

Wealthspire is seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to design, build, and operate a secure, resilient, and scalable enterprise network environment. This role is critical to supporting Wealthspire's modern cloud-first strategy, hybrid workforce, and ongoing growth initiatives, including carve-outs and future M&A integrations.

The Network Architect will serve as the technical authority for connectivity, networking standards, and network security, partnering closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and End User Computing teams to ensure reliable and high-performing services across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Architecture & Engineering: Design and maintain enterprise network architecture, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, cloud connectivity (Azure), and telephony/network integrations. Establish architecture standards, documentation, and roadmaps for routing, switching, segmentation, firewalling, and zero-trust networking. Architect, implement, and support enterprise network solutions across corporate offices, data centers, and cloud environments. Support Microsoft-centric environments (Azure, M365, Intune) with secure and optimized connectivity.

• Operations & Reliability: Oversee network monitoring, performance tuning, high availability, and incident response. Ensure redundancy, failover, and disaster recovery capabilities are tested and maintained. Act as an escalation point for complex network issues and incidents. Drive configuration, change, and lifecycle management best practices.

• Security & Compliance: Partner with the CISO organization on IAM integration, firewall policies, endpoint connectivity, and secure remote access. Support regulatory and compliance requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001, SEC, GDPR, NYDFS).

• Carve-Outs & M&A: Execute network separation and integration activities aligned to carve-out timelines. Lead network-related activities for carve-outs, separations, and M&A integrations, including developing repeatable playbooks.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage network service providers, ISPs, telecom vendors, and MSPs, including day-to-day Technology operations and vendor relationships. Drive SLA performance, cost optimization, and vendor consolidation where appropriate. Collaborate with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Cloud, and End User Computing teams to deliver seamless employee experiences.

Qualifications:

• 8-12+ years of experience in enterprise networking and infrastructure roles. • Proven experience as a Network Architect or Senior Network Engineer in a complex environment. • Deep hands-on expertise with SD-WAN, firewalls, VPNs, routing/switching, and cloud networking (Azure). • Experience supporting hybrid workforces and multi-site enterprise environments. • Exposure to carve-outs, integrations, or M&A activity strongly preferred. • Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Azure Networking) are a plus.

What Makes This Role Unique:

• Opportunity to shape and modernize enterprise network architecture in a growing wealth management firm. • High visibility role with impact across security, cloud, and end-user experience. • Collaborative culture focused on operational excellence, resilience, and innovation. • Hybrid work environment with flexibility and career growth opportunities.
