Join Barclays as an AVP, Retail Acquisition, where you will leverage your growth mindset and creative problem-solving skills to drive acquisition projects spanning across product onboarding experiences, as well as credit strategies and risk governance. Core duties involve supporting cross-functional teams, guiding cross-functional strategy execution, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving commercial growth. You will also oversee acquisition marketing operations across the total GAP portfolio - guiding intake, reporting, and go‑to‑market acquisition strategy for Old Navy, Gap, Banana Republic and Athleta. You will coordinate across internal teams and external partners to execute acquisition campaigns, ensure compliance, and maintain consistent communication.
To be successful as an AVP, Retail Acquisition, you should have experience with:
Developing and executing customer acquisition strategies, particularly within Card and Financial Services environments and digital marketing
Applying data evaluation and customer segmentation to identify trends, optimize performance, and drive acquisition results
Supporting marketing operations, performance reporting, and digital acquisition channels
Supporting multi-layered projects, including intake, governance, compliance, and review processes
Using quantitative and qualitative data to evaluate acquisition performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Ability to drive and execute the acquisition agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment
Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment across multiple geographies
