Base Salary: $80k - $128k + Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This AVP or VP-level opportunity sits within the Credit Management Department of a well-established global financial institution, offering a data-driven credit portfolio monitoring and reporting role with increasing emphasis on data analytics, system optimization, and automation. The position serves as a key contributor to the branch's credit risk management framework supporting GCMS maintenance and enhancement, preparing Head Office and regulatory reports, and collaborating with IT teams to improve data quality and reporting efficiency. It's a solid fit for a credit-trained professional with 3+ years of financial institution experience who combines strong analytical skills with data proficiency and is bilingual in English and Mandarin. Mandarin language proficiency is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare credit reports in accordance with Head Office and Regulatory Authority requirements including FRB and DFS examinations
• Monitor, analyze, and report credit portfolio-related information;manage credit data integrity and conduct ongoing analysis
• Conduct sector and portfolio analysis of assigned industries in coordination with relevant internal stakeholders
• Maintain and enhance GCMS functionality;collaborate closely with Head Office IT teams to improve system capabilities, data quality, and reporting efficiency
• Prepare documentation and reports to support internal and external audits including regulatory examinations
• Share the department's RICO function jointly overseeing internal controls and regulatory compliance across the credit management function
• Act as a risk manager with full accountability for identifying, escalating, and managing risks in accordance with all internal policies, procedures, and controls
• Demonstrate ongoing risk awareness through consistent adherence to internal policies and procedures in daily routine
