Title: AVP / VP Operational Resilience Data Quality & Controls

Office Status: Hybrid New York, NY

Base Salary: $119k $190k + Bonus

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a newly created opportunity within the Operational Resilience function of a leading global financial institution, focused on metric definition, governance, reporting integrity, and data quality across a comprehensive operational resilience program. The role sits at the intersection of risk management, data analytics, and regulatory compliance offering a unique mandate to build transparency through analytics and insights across business continuity, disaster recovery, technology testing, third-party resilience, and data resilience domains. It's an ideal fit for a detail-oriented risk and data governance professional with financial services experience who combines strong analytical capabilities with a working knowledge of operational resilience frameworks and a comfort with AI-enabled automation tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure alignment of resilience metrics across business requirements and technology implementations including business RTO and RPO targets across entities and teams
  • Conduct data analysis and reconciliation across systems of reference;address gaps and findings from independent assessments and self-identified issues
  • Automate and optimize data analytics across solutions including Copilot, SharePoint, and Power BI;perform functional administration of the Operational Resilience tool
  • Develop governance and management reporting;escalate data quality and controls risks to appropriate stakeholders
  • Facilitate integration of resilience measures across key domains including business continuity, IT disaster recovery, third-party risk management, and crisis management ensuring a cohesive and coordinated approach to embedding resilience analytics into core processes, systems, and decision-making practices
  • Identify, implement, and report on new KPIs and KRIs;manage related definitions, audit trails, and documentation
  • Partner closely across all Operational Resilience pillars to ensure program-wide data quality, reporting consistency, and regulatory alignment
  • Leverage AI and all available tools to design, automate, and analyze controls and related risks across the resilience framework
