Job Overview Supervise and participate in house recycles and related repairs; assign and monitor work of crew members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and participate in house recycles; disassemble house and related equipment; wash, repair, sanitize and reassemble house.
Perform minor equipment repair.
Monitor job performance of fellow crew members and suggest improvements when needed.
Interact closely with Farm Managers and Maintenance.
Assign work to crew members.
Prepare recycling reports.
Assist with flock removal.
Communicate directly with Supervisor.
Occasionally fill in for house manager.
Perform all other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education:High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.).
Experience:1-2 years related experience and/or training. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.
Certification/Licensure: Valid driver s license.
Other: Basic maintenance skills.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts; in high, precarious places; in outside weather conditions; in hot/cold environmental temperatures; and is frequently exposed to chemicals and odors.

What animal contact is permitted? Permitted animals include dogs, cats, fish, and traditional farm animals (horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas/alpacas). Employees may not handle raw or frozen meat or poultry products before work.
How is biosecurity enforced? All candidates must complete a Biosecurity & Animal Ownership Disclosure Form prior to hire and certify ongoing compliance. Violations or falsification may result in disciplinary action up to and including immediate termination.
