What You'll Do
Fabrication & Production
Measure, cut, and prepare fabric materials according to project specifications
Operate industrial sewing equipment to sew, hem, reinforce, and assemble fabric products
Install grommets, zippers, keder, valances, and other finishing components
Assist with assembly of aluminum and steel framework systems
Stretch and secure fabric onto frames to achieve a tight, professional finish
Quality & Installation Support
Inspect completed products to ensure quality and proper fit
Test moving components and verify products are installation-ready
Prepare hardware, brackets, and installation kits for field crews
Assist with field measurements or complex installation projects as needed
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
1+ year of sewing, fabrication, manufacturing, upholstery, canvas, or related experience preferred
Strong measuring and layout skills
Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Ability to use hand tools and basic fabrication equipment
Ability to read and follow drawings, measurements, and work instructions
Preferred Experience
Industrial sewing experience
Experience working with awning, marine, upholstery, canvas, vinyl, or shade products
Familiarity with materials such as Sunbrella, PVC, acrylic, or coated fabrics
Experience with grommet presses, fabric welders, or similar equipment
