Job Description AWS Administrator (Onsite | Contract) Location: Titusville, New Jersey Type: Onsite | Contract Experience: 8+ Years We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Administrator with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and data & analytics platforms. This is an exciting onsite contract role in Titusville, NJ, ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Roles & Responsibilities
Manage and administer AWS Cloud Infrastructure with focus on performance, scalability, and security.
Deliver end-to-end solutions for Data & Analytics applications across structured and unstructured data in AWS and Oracle.
Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather, refine, and document infrastructure requirements.
Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for stable and automated deployments.
Optimize cloud costs, resource usage, and system performance effectively.
Perform Linux & Windows system administration tasks and ensure smooth operations.
Create and maintain best practices, governance policies, and documentation.
Mentor junior team members and collaborate within multi-site, multicultural teams.
Ensure compliance, security, and quality standards in all AWS environments.
Requirements
8+ years of professional experience in AWS Administration.
Strong background in automation, DevOps practices, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket, SonarQube).
Solid knowledge of ETL tools (Informatica, Talend) and Big Data tools (Hive, Spark, Oozie, Impala, Sqoop).
Exposure to reporting/BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, R).
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology and tools like JIRA, Git/Bitbucket, Confluence.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
Preferred Skills
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate.
Experience in data lineage, metadata management, and profiling tools.
Knowledge of governance, documentation, and compliance best practices.
