AWS and Azure Cloud Operations Engineer

Role Descriptions:

1.7+ years of experience supporting enterprise cloud environments.

2.Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.

3.Proven experience writing| reading| debugging| and maintaining Terraform code.

4.Strong proficiency in Python scripting and automation development.

5.Strong understanding of monitoring and observability tools. (Datadog preferred)

6.Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines (preferred - GitHub Actions)

7.Strong understanding of Source control management (Git)| Branching strategies| Release management| Infrastructure as Code practices and DevSecOps methodologies

8.Knowledge of Generative AI and AI-assisted software development tools.

9.Experience using AI tools to generate| optimize| review| and troubleshoot scripts.Certifications: AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect| SysOps Administrator and/or DevOps Engineer).

Nice to have skills:

10.Strong hands-on experience with GCP

11.Experience with cloud networking concepts| including VPC/VNet| DNS| load balancing| and security groups/firewalls.

12.Understanding of Agentic AI frameworks| AI agents| and workflow orchestration concepts.

13.Ability to identify automation opportunities using AI for operational excellence and cloud support functions.

14.Familiarity with Infrastructure Security| SRE| and Platform Engineering concepts.

15.Exposure to cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Operations Engineer to support application teams across AWS and Azure cloud environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cloud platform operations| infrastructure automation| CI/CD implementation| operational excellence| and AI-driven automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Platform OperationsSupport applications hosted on AWS and Azure. (GCP knowledge is nice to have)
• Support cloud resource provisioning| configuration| maintenance| and optimization.Infrastructure as Code & AutomationDevelop| maintain| and enhance Terraform modules and infrastructure deployments.
• Build and maintain automation solutions using Python.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks to reduce manual operational tasks.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning| configuration management| compliance checks| and remediation workflows.DevOps & CI/CDDesign| implement| and support CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (preferable)| Azure DevOps| Jenkins| or similar technologies.
• Documentation:Maintain documentation for cloud architecture| operational procedures| and automation assets.AI Driven Automation:Leverage Agentic AI and modern AI technologies to automate operational workflows and support processes. Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate script creation| optimization| and troubleshooting. Identify opportunities to apply AI-powered agents for cloud operations| incident management| monitoring analysis| and platform support.
