We are seeking as-needed AWS Certified Welding Inspectors to perform inspection during the fabrication of structural steel. As-needed assignments are typically short-term, and may be located at various locations across the United States.
Requirements:
\u2981 Valid AWS CWI
\u2981 Demonstrated experience performing quality inspection of welds in accordance with AWS D1.5 (Bridge Welding Code) is preferred
\u2981 Ability to travel
\u2981 Access and ability to operate a personal computer utilizing Microsoft Word and Excel, the internet, and email
\u2981 Valid driver's license
\u2981 High School Diploma or Equivalent
\u2981 Authorized to work in the United States, sponsorship not available
Physical Requirements:
\u2981 Physical activity includes: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, walking, grasping, talking, hearing, and standing for sustained periods of time
\u2981 Exerting up to 20 lbs. occasionally and up to 10 lbs. frequently
\u2981 Visual acuity requirements include color and depth perception, and field of vision
