Job Description

Job Title: AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer
Location: Austin, TX / Sunnyvale, CA – Onsite
Employment Type: W2 Contract Only
Rate: $50–$55/hour W2 all-inclusive
Eligibility: Ex-Apple candidates only or candidates who are local to the location

Job Description:
  • 7+ years of experience with strong exposure to AWS, GCP, and/or Azure platforms.
  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Manage cloud services including compute, storage, databases, networking, IAM, and load balancing.
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, capacity, and security.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and operational tasks.
  • Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps and development teams.
  • Manage virtual machines, containers, Kubernetes clusters, and related infrastructure.
  • Implement backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and business continuity solutions.
  • Configure VPC/VNet, subnets, routing, VPN, firewalls, security groups, and load balancers.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, application deployment, and performance issues.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident-management processes.
  • Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
  • Apply cloud security and compliance best practices.
  • Perform capacity planning and cloud cost optimization.
  • Collaborate with development, security, database, and application teams.
  • Participate in production deployments, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
  • Strong communication skills and experience working in an onshore/offshore delivery model.
  • Cloud certification is an added advantage.
