AWS Cloud Engineer

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering Team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our cloud hosted environments. You will work closely with engineering and product teams to build, maintain, and optimize solutions running in AWS.
This position requires strong expertise in AWS and Python, along with a passion for building reliable cloud infrastructure and high quality software.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all websites and applications run efficiently and consistently within AWS environments.
Design, build, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure and automated provisioning processes.
Develop software and automation tools using Python as the primary language.
Implement best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and reliability.
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and conduct root cause analysis when problems arise.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to support cloud based development initiatives.
Continuously evaluate and improve cloud deployment processes and system performance.
Required Qualifications
Hands on experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation/Terraform, RDS, etc.).
Strong programming skills in Python.
Background in software development or automation engineering.
Experience with CI/CD tools, DevOps workflows, or cloud native development.
Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in distributed cloud systems.
Strong problem solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Developer, or AWS SysOps Administrator).
Experience with Generative AI (GenAI) platforms or services.
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, ECS, EKS) or serverless architectures.
Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling.
