Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Location: Tysons Corner, VA (Hybrid / Remote)
Duration: Fulltime

Position Summary
The AWS Cloud Infrastructure Architect will design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures supporting the IRS Platform.
The role will focus on AWS networking, infrastructure automation, multi-account architectures, platform resilience, and enterprise integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Design AWS cloud architectures supporting Databricks workloads.
Architect:
- VPCs
- Subnets
- NAT Gateways
- Transit Gateway
- PrivateLink
Design secure cross-account architectures.
Support Infrastructure as Code implementations.
Lead cloud modernization initiatives.
Develop high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
Design monitoring and observability solutions.
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance.
Review architecture artifacts and technical designs.
Support cost optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
7+ years of infrastructure and operations experience.
5+ years designing AWS cloud environments.
Strong expertise in:
- VPC
- IAM
- S3
- EKS
- RDS
- Route 53
- CloudWatch
Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

Preferred Certifications

AWS Solutions Architect Professional
AWS Advanced Networking Specialty
Databricks Certified Associate
