Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Lead Welder to oversee daily welding operations while performing high-quality structural welding in a fabrication environment. This leadership role combines hands-on welding responsibilities with team support, quality control, training, and production oversight.

Required Experience & Skills
Proven structural welding experience REQUIRED
Previous lead, supervisory, or team leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards
Experience performing quality control inspections on completed welds
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic REQUIRED
Preferred Qualifications
AWS or equivalent welding certifications preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment
Experience leading teams and improving production efficiency
Strong understanding of structural fabrication processes
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Perform structural welding according to blueprints, specifications, and quality standards
Lead and support welding team members on the production floor
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure weld integrity and compliance
Train and mentor welders on best practices, safety procedures, and quality expectations
Troubleshoot welding issues and implement corrective actions when needed
Ensure all work meets company and industry standards
Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
Collaborate with supervisors and management to meet production schedules and goals
Perform additional duties as assigned to support fabrication operations
