Pay Range: $55.00- 58.00 /Hour


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AWS Data Engineer with expertise in Python, AWS Glue, ETL, and Attunity (Qlik Replicate) to design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-based data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building robust ETL pipelines, implementing data migration and replication solutions, and supporting enterprise data warehousing and analytics initiatives on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and AWS Glue.
  • Build and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and integration workflows across multiple data sources.
  • Utilize Attunity (Qlik Replicate) for real-time and batch data replication and migration.
  • Develop data pipelines to support data lakes, data warehouses, and analytics platforms.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and application teams to gather and implement data requirements.
  • Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Perform data validation, quality checks, and troubleshooting of data integration issues.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, automation scripts, and monitoring solutions.
  • Write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
  • Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for data engineering and cloud development.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL development.
  • Strong programming skills in Python.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Glue.
  • Extensive experience designing and developing ETL solutions.
  • Strong experience with Attunity (Qlik Replicate) for data migration and replication.
  • Experience with AWS services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, Redshift, CloudWatch, and RDS.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional data modeling.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Qlik Sense.
  • Knowledge of AWS data lake architecture.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
  • Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms and data governance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • AWS Cloud certification is a plus.
