AWS Developer

AWS Developer (Generative AI / LLM) — Contract — Onsite in Lansing, MI

We’re seeking an experienced AWS Developer to support a high-visibility enterprise initiative. This is a 6+ month contract with onsite work in Lansing, MI (relocation candidates welcome).

What you’ll do

• Design and develop Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, AI agents, and agentic frameworks
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions for enterprise use cases
• Develop Python services for LLM orchestration and AI workflows
• Implement prompt engineering strategies and structured LLM outputs
• Build and integrate REST APIs using FastAPI
• Build and deploy scalable AWS solutions using Lambda, Fargate, API Gateway, OpenSearch, and CloudFormation
• Develop Q&A / conversational AI solutions using AWS Bedrock
• Support Amazon Connect configuration, contact flows, and administration

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with AI Agents and agentic AI frameworks
• Advanced Python development experience
• Proven experience with LLM orchestration and RAG architectures
• Experience with LLM evaluation techniques/frameworks
• Experience building REST APIs with FastAPI
• Strong AWS experience, including:
  • CloudFormation
  • API Gateway
  • Fargate
  • Lambda
  • Amazon OpenSearch
• Hands-on experience with AWS Bedrock (Q&A/chatbot solutions)
• Experience with Amazon Connect (contact flows/admin.
