Title: AWS DevOps w/Harness

Introduction
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an AWS DevOps Engineer with expertise in Harness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Infrastructure and Cloud services, DevOps, and CI/CD processes. This role involves executing wave-based Jenkins to Harness migrations using a factory operating model.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8 to 14 years of overall experience in Infrastructure and Cloud services
- 8 years of DevOps and CI/CD experience
- 1 year of Harness tool experience
- Hands-on ability to build and migrate CI/CD pipelines and enforce reuse through templates and versioning
- Experience deploying and operating delegates/runners, and troubleshooting connectivity/toolchain access
- Strong experience analyzing Jenkins pipelines and translating them to Harness equivalents
- Familiarity with AI-assisted conversion using Harness Jenkins Migrator
- Experience with parallel/shadow runs, artifact/output comparison, readiness checkpoints, and cutover stabilization practices
- Integrations with SCM, artifact repositories/registries, secrets management, and environment targets using connectors and least-privilege principles
- Prior work experience at client or in client's industry
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Harness CI/CD modules, pipeline templates, RBAC, delegates
- Experience with EKS/Kubernetes, Helm, and deployment strategies (blue-green, canary)
- Experience with secrets management (Vault / AWS Secrets / CyberArk)
- Strong in Terraform (mandatory) and enabling infrastructure provisioning as part of pipeline
- Experience in optimizing build times, failure rates, and pipeline efficiency
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Execute wave-based Jenkins to Harness migrations using a factory operating model
- Industrialize CI/CD migration using waves, playbooks, reusable templates, and validation gates
- Leverage Harness Jenkins Migrator to scan/analyze pipelines and convert them to Harness format
- Deliver controlled cutovers and stabilization while enabling governance elements
- Perform Jenkins estate discovery and classify pipelines into complexity buckets
- Implement hands-on readiness required for factory execution
- Use Harness Jenkins Migrator for bulk conversion and initial YAML generation
- Replace unsupported Jenkins plugins with Harness-native steps or agreed scripts
- Execute parallel runs for validation and produce validation evidence packages
- Execute cutover and stabilize builds by monitoring failures and adjusting runner sizing
- Support controlled Jenkins reduction activities as defined by the migration plan
