Job Summary (List Format):

- Design, develop, and automate scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and AWS cloud-native technologies.
- Build and maintain data pipelines and cloud infrastructure with AWS services (Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift).
- Manage all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and implementation to testing and cloud operations.
- Support and maintain existing enterprise J2EE systems while transitioning them to modern cloud environments.
- Drive continuous integration and test automation pipelines using tools such as GitHub/GitLab, SonarQube, and JUnit.
- Participate actively in Agile team sprints and in-person Program Increment (PI) Planning events in D.C. or Wilmington.
- Apply strong Java coding skills, with expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, and object-oriented design patterns.
- Leverage experience with traditional J2EE technologies (Servlets, JMS, JDBC, Web Services, MQ, concurrent programming).
- Work with Oracle/SQL databases and handle data/web protocols including JSON, XML/XSLT, JAXB, SOAP, and RESTful APIs.
- Utilize foundational frontend knowledge (JavaScript, HTML) and write unit test cases using TDD and BDD.
- Maintain a solid understanding of enterprise security, including Role-Based Security (JAAS), HTTPS protocols, and encryption.
- Hybrid work arrangement with mandatory in-person Agile planning events.
