Immediate need for a talented AWS Production Support Engineer. This is a 06+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Torrance, CA (Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Cloud Administration-Administer and manage AWS services including EC2, IAM, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and related cloud resources.
Provision, configure, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure.
Manage cloud resource lifecycle, scalability, and availability.
Infrastructure & Application Support
Support and maintain application hosting environments, including web, application, and database servers.
Administer Windows Servers, IIS, DNS configurations, file servers, and application infrastructure.
Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production environments.
Monitoring & Performance Management-Implement and maintain monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch and other tools.
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks proactively.
Drive continuous improvements to enhance system stability and reliability.
Security & Compliance
Manage IAM roles, Active Directory groups, service accounts, and access controls.
Configure and maintain firewalls, WAF, SSL certificates, and network security policies.
Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
Team Collaboration & Leadership
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to resolve issues and implement solutions.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance.
Participate in operational planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

Must have skills: -"AWS" ,"Production Support"," Administration", "Active directory"
8+ years of experience in AWS Administration and Cloud Infrastructure Support.
Strong hands-on experience with:
AWS EC2, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, SNS, and SQS
Load Balancers, AWS WAF, Firewalls, and CDN technologies (Akamai preferred)
Windows Server Administration and IIS
Active Directory (AD Groups, Service Accounts)
SQL Server access and permission management
Application, Web, and Database Server Administration
Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure Operations and Production Support environments.
Experience with Infrastructure Support and Application Support environments.
AWS Certifications or equivalent cloud training.
Knowledge of SharePoint administration is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Systems Administration, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
AWS Certifications preferred.
