Job Title: AWS Systems Analyst
Location: Tampa, FL 33607
Duration: 06 Months
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

 
Position Summary
  • The Systems Analyst develops applications, implements software packages, integrates applications, and provides 24x7 application support.
  • Collaborates on all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with a focus on application design, development, and implementation.
  • Utilizes appropriate development tools and technologies in keeping with the IT architecture.

Note: Candidates must have hands-on, production-level experience with AWS Connect, including implementation, development, configuration, and Python programming.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead complex software development projects.
  • Collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Business Partners to develop software specifications.
  • Lead the selection and implementation of software packages requiring in-depth configuration and integration.
  • Lead the integration of applications with complex interfaces.
  • Develop, implement, and support enterprise applications throughout the SDLC.
  • Produce technical documentation, estimates, and required SDLC deliverables.
  • Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for business-critical applications.
  • Coordinate application maintenance activities and release schedules.
  • Function as Technical Lead on projects and oversee technical deliverables.
  • Participate in application development, support, and project teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert within the technical discipline and relevant business areas.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members while driving standard development practices and process improvements.
 
Required Qualifications
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or an equivalent discipline.
  • Relevant experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
 
Experience
  • Required: 10 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
  • Preferred: 12 years of experience in systems analysis, design, and development.
 
Preferred Certifications
  • Two or more professional certifications in specific job-related disciplines.
 
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies.
  • Strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience developing project plans and supporting project scheduling and resource management.
  • Ability to create and review technical design specifications.
  • Knowledge of development tools and technologies supporting the Information Technology Architecture.
  • Expert with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Drives continuous process improvement for SDLC, maintenance, application support, and technology architecture.
