Hourly Salary Range: $37.00-$39.00/hr
Work Schedule: Day Shift (6:00 AM-2:30 PM)
*There will be a hands-on programming exercise as part of the interview process which will take 1-2 hours.
Job Description:
- Responsible for AXI programming and X ray inspections for complex PCA. Platform used: Agilent 5DX and Omron 5DX
- Create AXI inspection programs for NPI PCAs, revision updates for production PCAs.
- Order fixtures, tooling.
- Fine tune the programs after the first board is available.
- Co-ordinate with vendors for any breakdown, service, calibration.
- Perform routine maintenance. Keep the machine in good working condition.
- Follow IPC Class 2 and class 3 standards for setting program limits.
- Analyze Inspection results, identify false/true defects and improve program based on test results.
- Prepare inspection coverage reports, Store 5DX images, work with process engineers for improvements of 5DX yield.
- Maintain logs for PCA revisions, programs completed. Archive programs.
- Review NPI schedules and manage machine time for programming and testing in consultation with Engineers / Supervisors.
- Participate in Lean/Kaizen events to improve cycle times, yields, sampling procedures.
- Covert customer data (gerbers, CAD) from different software to load into Agilent 5DX and/or Omron 5DX machines using Vayo/Test Expert.
Job Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of both Agilent 5DX and some Omron operation, with ability to interact with the software to program for testing various PCB boards.
- Some experience in offline programming experience
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills with knowledge of quality standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management and customers when required.
- Requires a minimum of 3-4 years hands-on experience in creating programs for AXI and/or AOI.
- Prior experience working with AXI-interface, CAMCAD.
- Require AS degree in Electronics Technician or equivalent to 6 years working experience and proficient in computer including MSWord and MSExcel.
Experience:
- 5DX Programming: 5 years (Preferred).
- PCBA/Contract Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred).
