Job Description:
An Axiom Regulatory SME bridges the gap between finance, risk, and technology. They interpret regulatory mandates (like Basel III or CCAR) and translate them into functional data requirements, ensuring accurate reporting within the AxiomSL ControllerView platform. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
 
Core Responsibilities
Regulatory Compliance & Analysis: Monitor regulatory changes, interpret guidelines (e.g., FR Y-9C, FR Y-14, COREP, FINREP), and conduct impact analyses. [1, 2, 3]
Requirement Gathering: Translate complex regulatory rules into functional specifications and technical requirements for developer and IT teams. [1, 2]
Data Lineage & Gap Analysis: Trace data from source systems to Axiom reports. Identify data anomalies and define source-to-target mapping. [1, 2]
Axiom Configuration: Configure AxiomSL components, including Data Sources, Data Models, Portfolios, Aggregations, Shorthands, and Free-Form/Tabular reports. [1, 2]
Testing & Validation: Own the end-to-end UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and SIT (System Integration Testing). Validate transformations, perform reconciliations, and debug reporting outputs. [1, 2, 3]
Governance & Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for audit trails, data dictionaries, and regulatory review processes. [1, 2, 3, 4]
