Location                            : Globe AZ 85501
Project Duration           : 13 weeks
Pay range                         : $50–$54 per hour, based on experience  W2 with limited benefits
Shift                                    : days+call
 
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a Medical/Surgical, Observation, and Telemetry setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, administering medications and treatments, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in Medical/Surgical, Observation, and Telemetry units.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications, treatments, and intravenous therapies in accordance with physician orders.
• Interpret and monitor telemetry rhythms, reporting significant findings promptly.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and changes in patient condition.
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

 
Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (or compact license if applicable).
• Current BLS certification (AHA required if specified by facility).
• ACLS certification may be required based on facility requirements.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Medical/Surgical, Observation, and/or Telemetry nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
