We are looking for a Senior Azure Cloud Administrator with strong Azure Administration and Azure AI experience to design, implement, administer, secure, and support enterprise Azure environments. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure, networking, security, automation, Infrastructure as Code, and Azure AI services including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise Client Azure environments, including production cloud infrastructure.
• Deploy, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Azure resources and cloud services.
• Provide technical expertise on Azure AI, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Azure AI Search, and intelligent applications/agents.
• Support Azure customers and stakeholders through technical briefings, demos, POCs, solution design, and technical recommendations.
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure architectures supporting enterprise applications and data platforms.
• Administer Azure networking, including network diagnostics, VPN configuration, firewall policies, connectivity, and security controls.
• Develop and implement cloud security, monitoring, auditing, alerting, and compliance best practices.
• Support Azure Data Lake and data platform infrastructure, including networking and security architecture.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and automation using PowerShell, Python, and Ansible.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Azure infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitor Azure and on-premises environments for availability, performance, security, and integrity.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
• Collaborate with application development, networking, security, database, and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct risk assessments for existing and new technology deployments and recommend remediation strategies.
• Establish Azure administration standards, procedures, tools, and operational processes.
• Recommend Azure migration strategies, enterprise architectures, integration approaches, and application infrastructure.
• Develop and demonstrate Azure AI POCs, optimize model performance, and support profiling and benchmarking activities.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and stakeholders regarding Azure AI adoption and cloud strategy.
• Build reusable technical assets, documentation, and best practices for Azure AI and cloud infrastructure.
• Identify technical blockers and recommend solutions related to security, scalability, performance, IP, and customer readiness.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to technical solution and opportunity planning.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT/Cloud infrastructure experience with strong Azure Administration experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Client Azure.
• Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking, security, compute, storage, databases, and servers.
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure AI Search, or related Azure AI technologies.
• Strong PowerShell scripting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Python scripting.
• Experience with Ansible or similar automation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Azure networking, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, NSGs, routing, and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting Azure Data Lake / Azure Data Platform infrastructure.
• Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud security, monitoring, auditing, alerting, and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Understanding of ITIL concepts is preferred.

AI Experience

• 3+ years of experience with AI/ML, intelligent applications/agents, AI Search, or enterprise AI solutions.
• Strong technical understanding of Azure AI/Cognitive Services and Azure OpenAI.
• Experience conducting AI demonstrations, POCs, technical briefings, or solution workshops.
• Ability to recommend AI integration strategies and enterprise architectures.
