Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our dynamic team supporting the ENACT Modernization program. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Python and a proven ability to design, migrate, and optimize secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.

Responsibilities:

• Develop cloud migration strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Design and coordinate architectures for cloud-based applications and services across public, private, and hybrid environments.
• Assess project requirements and recommend suitable cloud solutions.
• Oversee data and application migration from legacy systems to the cloud.
• Implement security controls and measures for cloud-based systems.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize efficiency and cost in collaboration with service providers.
• Plan and implement data backup and disaster recovery procedures.
• Create and maintain documentation for architectures, operations, and workflows.
• Provide guidance on infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application and data transfers.
• Establish standard operating procedures and policies for data transfer and storage aligned to best practices.
• Communicate effectively with cloud providers, partners, and internal stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or in a similar role.
• Expertise with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform; familiarity with AWS or similar platforms.
• Understanding of network operations, software development, and information security.
• Proficiency with cloud ecosystems, APIs, and frameworks.
• Experience with Python; knowledge of Java or .NET is beneficial.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Onsite presence required at one of the listed locations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SQL and related data tools.
• Familiarity with Horizon toolset.
• Knowledge of change management practices.
• Understanding of cloud security principles and controls.
