Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based applications on Microsoft Azure, while providing technical expertise in application development, DevOps processes, and cloud infrastructure management.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and implement modern web-based and backend applications to support business requirements.
- Deploy and manage applications and services on Microsoft Azure.
- Collaborate with Team Leads and Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Azure-hosted applications and infrastructure.
- Ensure application and infrastructure security through Azure security best practices.
- Build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and performance tuning using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics.
- Manage Azure networking components such as VNets, NSGs, Application Gateways, DNS, and Traffic Managers.
- Regularly communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to provide updates, address issues, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Provide operational support for incident management, change control processes, and related IT operations using tools like ServiceNow and Jira.
- (Good to Have) Provide support and integration capabilities for MuleSoft applications.
Technical Skills Required- Azure Services: App Services, Azure VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB.
- Monitoring & Logging: Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics (KQL).
- DevOps Tools: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipeline creation and management.
- Programming Languages: .NET, C#, Java, Python, Node.js.
- Networking: VNet, NSG, Application Gateway, DNS, Traffic Manager.
- Security: Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Managed Identities, Key Vault, SSL/TLS.
- Serverless Computing: Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus.
- Database Technologies: Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Table Storage.
- Containerization: Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- IT Operations: Incident management, change control, ServiceNow, Jira.
- (Good to Have): MuleSoft application support and integration.
Experience Required- 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience in cloud-based application development and DevOps operations.
- Proven experience in deploying and managing applications on Azure Cloud.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for application performance, deployment issues, and infrastructure failures.
- Experience in access management and security implementation on Azure.
- Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, and monitoring.
Preferred Qualifications- Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400, or equivalent).
- Experience working in agile environments with DevOps practices.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
