Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

- Assess current Azure architecture and identify gaps in scalability, security, and cost optimization.
- Redesign existing deployments to align with Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and best practices.
Microsoft Azure Cloud Services
- Deep understanding of IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings for enterprise architecture including Azure Networking.
Azure DevOps
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, release management, and automation.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Proficiency in Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates for automated deployments.
Backup:
Azure Backup & Disaster Recovery or any other relevant Backup Technologies
Azure Monitoring & Governance
- Using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Microsoft Sentinel for proactive monitoring and compliance.
Version Control & Collaboration
Strong knowledge of Git for source control and integration with DevOps workflows.
Virtualization Technologies
Experience with VMware for hybrid cloud and migration scenarios.
Operating Systems
- Skilled in managing Windows and Linux workloads in Azure environments and supporting enterprise level changes.
Automation & Scripting
- Expertise in PowerShell, Azure CLI, and automation tools for operational efficiency.
Security & Identity Management
- Implementing Azure AD, RBAC, Conditional Access, and governance policies.
- Experience in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) for identity and access management in hybrid environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for cloud identity, authentication, and authorization.
- Containerization and Orchestration (Additional)
- Knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) for container orchestration and scaling workloads.
- Knowledge of Docker for containerization of applications and microservices.
FinOps:
- Implement cost optimization strategies across Azure services using Azure Cost Management and Advisor.
- Monitor and analyze cloud spending to identify savings opportunities and eliminate waste.
Design architectures that balance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Salary Range: $110,000- $120,000 a year
