Azure Cloud Systems Engineer

Location: Suitland, MD

Clearance Required: Active TS/SCI

Leidos is seeking an Azure Cloud Systems Engineer in Suitland, MD to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Azure architecture supporting Zero Trust tools, identity services, and security monitoring platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Engineer Azure resource groups, subscriptions, networking, virtual machines, identity integrations, and cloud baselines.
• Design hybrid-cloud integration supporting on-premises and cloud-based Zero Trust platforms.
• Provide cloud architecture documentation, diagrams, integration schemas, and operational support.
• Implement automation, monitoring, security baselines, and cloud compliance standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, MIS, or in a related discipline with 8+ years of experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI security clearance.
• 7+ years Azure engineering experience, including automation and cloud-native architectures.
• 5+ years Cloud platform management, deployment, and monitoring (AWS, Azure).
• Skilled with PowerShell, Python, ARM/Bicep, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience supporting RMF and cloud security compliance.

Required Certifications:

• Azure Administrator or Solutions Architect certification.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
