We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale cloud data platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Client Azure, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and SQL, with hands-on experience building scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses. This role will support enterprise analytics, regulatory reporting, cloud modernization, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure cloud technologies.
• Build and manage enterprise data lakes and cloud data warehouses.
• Develop scalable data integration solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Snowflake.
• Create and optimize SQL-based data transformation and data processing workflows.
• Support both batch and real-time data ingestion and processing requirements.
• Design scalable, cloud-native data architectures following Azure best practices.
• Evaluate and enhance existing data platforms to improve performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support cloud migration and data modernization initiatives.
• Implement secure, highly available, and disaster recovery-compliant data solutions.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, metadata management, and governance standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with Data Governance teams and utilize tools such as Collibra.
• Implement security, compliance, and regulatory controls across enterprise data platforms.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, or similar DevOps tools.
• Support DataOps practices, operational monitoring, troubleshooting, and production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering and Cloud Data Platforms.
• Strong hands-on experience with Client Azure.
• Expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Experience with Azure Databricks.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake.
• Advanced SQL programming and performance optimization.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Experience building and supporting data lakes and data warehouses.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and distributed data processing.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipeline implementation.
• Understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks.
• Exposure to Collibra or similar data governance tools.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
